Easier and Better Storage: With Women in Mind

As a woman, I was very interested in the statistic that 60% of storage customers are female. We tend to make decisions much differently from men. Men and women make decisions based on different “buying triggers.” When renting rooms to women, the storage room needs to be well lit and secure. I need to feel safe, especially in new environments. Women tend to be more selective than men, so the office and bathrooms must be neat and clean. Women tend to be more emotional than men. Moving is a very emotional time and a big process for many. There is a sense of separation that comes into play when moving your things out of your home.
